People make bucket lists. Places to visit, adventure sports to do, trekking, climbing, pilgrimages, visiting friends, and so on. The list is about the future. What if the future never comes? What if, today, tomorrow or the following week will see the end of your life? The thought is both terrifying as well as humbling. Perhaps three simple to-do items can somewhat ease the suspense and agony of wondering when the end might come and what if it comes before my wishes are fulfilled. First, if you thought about helping someone in need, do it now. Second, declutter, so that you don't leave a pile of stuff for your family and friends to sort out. And organise your documents and financials. Third, start using all those things you have been planning to use only on special occasions. Today is special, too.
