In embracing our differences, we can truly celebrate our shared humanity. By embracing our differences, whether they are cultural, social or personal, we begin to understand the richness and uniqueness of each person's experiences and perspectives. We can break down barriers, foster empathy, and build a strong, inclusive society that embraces our shared humanity and promotes harmony among all people.

Urdu poet-lyricist Shakeel Badayuni says, 'Har shakhs mein wahi rooh, hai wahi khoon/ Wahi soch, wahi umang, sab mein ek-saa junoon' - the same soul resides in everyone, with the same red blood/same thinking and joie de vivre; the same degree of intense passion. Allama Iqbal stated the same thing decades ago, 'Haqeeqat ek hai har shai ki, khaaki ho ya noori/ Lahoo khursheed ka tapke agar zarre ka dil cheerein' - Big or small, all are equal, and one/ Blood of the sun oozes out when the heart of a particle is cut open.

A sense of separation is required for deepening our perceptions. Nature has created diversity to create intensity, gravity and profundity. After all, variety is the spice of life. We get bored with the sameness, just as we cannot relish the same dish after a certain period of time. A variety of differences leads to a myriad of experiences. So, embrace differences to enrich life's experiences.
