Appreciation of love

Here is the love story:

Man and woman marry to love each other. Love blossoms.

Differing opinions lead to the depreciation of love. Periodical depreciation.


Conflicts arise - accelerated depreciation of love.

Emotional divorce takes place, silently.

Love - fully depreciated, written off and dead. Embers of passion too die.

Both then live together as friends - caring for each other.

The three words, I love you, and the invariable response, I   love you too, are an affirmation and constant reminder of love for each other.

For love to appreciate, acceptance and respect are necessary. These have to be earned by both parties. One needs to be proud of each other's behaviour, achievements and standing. Enlightened minds, generous hearts and positive and mature attitudes are necessary ingredients, along with several others. These have to be developed day in and day out with mindful consciousness.

It is a tremendous task to ensure that love sustains and appreciates over time.

If love is taken for granted, one has to be ready to face the harsh reality of life - love will disappear at some point in time.

All of us, in the entire world, celebrate love for it is the elusive and ephemeral spirit in life.
