V-Day diwas is about selling yourself long
Valentine's Day criticism for its commercialization is outdated, but the mundane way it's commercialized can be critiqued. Instead of cliché gifts like flowers and teddy bears, opt for a more personalized and unique approach to romance. Suggestion...

In such a scenario, it's best to forgo the standard BS, same old-same old fare, and try out the following options: take your Valentine out to a lake/riverside in your city; plug in a pair of Bluetooth-connected earplugs each (the 'Gully Boy' kind of earplug-sharing looks romantic, but is aurally crap); play that specially-made playlist while sharing a romantic light intoxicant of mutual choice; in between songs say sweet something (sweet nothings being what the clueless say), and then walk home together past curfew hour. Putting this experiential show also needs commercial transactions. But as you may have guessed, your romdezvous, will, at least, crackle with a personalised flair. The other person will resist you only to his/her loss.
