The super righteous, picky-eating Kiran Bedi
It's challenging enough to watch all those videos on our phones giving us gallons of gyan about eating healthy and living fit. One glass of wine is good for you, says one. One glass of wine is a gateway to crack heroin, says another. Eye-roll. But...

Unless, of course, you are a supercop with an iron will - and have a wee dab of self-righteous essence mixed in your daily glass of goat's milk. In other words, Kiran Bedi. The former Puducherry L-G apparently has never - yes, never - eaten puri, kachori, pakode and samosa. She calls them faltu, and has never even craved for them. And when she did crave for pani puri - that silly glorious deep-fried genius of a breaded sphere filled with heavenly potato, chilli, turmeric and Lethean Liquid X - Bedi would drink, er, kanji. While we admire Very Very Bedi for her commitment to all things healthy, we don't know what disturbs us more: that she is healthy because of being a super-nitpicky eater, or that she is proud of being healthy on account of being super-fussy.
