The real issue of rising zenophobia
Joe Biden critiques 'xenophobic' policies, but the concern is 'zenophobia.' Zenophobes fear silence, resort to absurd measures, dreading serenity. Guidance may help embrace tranquillity.

Some folks seem to harbour an inexplicable aversion to the notion of quiet minds and serene souls. Perhaps they fear that in the absence of turmoil, they would be forced to confront the daunting void within themselves. Or maybe they simply find comfort in the chaos, like sailors who prefer stormy seas to calm waters. Zenophobes, in their wild pursuit of restlessness, often resort to absurd measures to avoid the spectre of serenity. They fill their lives with incessant noise - from blaring horns to mind-numbing chatter - as if silence were an infectious disease to be avoided at all costs. But let's not condemn these afflicted souls too harshly. For theirs is a plight born of ignorance rather than malice. Perhaps with gentle guidance and a soothing cup of chamomile, they may one day learn to embrace zen and the art of equanimity maintenance.
