Artificial intelligence? Dude, it’s genuine stupidity that’s the future
AI, yes. Every Tom, Dick and Harish is making LLM excuses these days. So, no matter how AI-y AI gets, that room is already crowded.

But more importantly, the truly paradigm-shifting technology isn't artificial intelligence, but its exact opposite: GS, or genuine stupidity. Stupidity is already glamourised and considered a far better option than intelligence, according to quantitative metrics. And unlike AI, GS requires no data centres, GPUs, billion-dollar investments. It is powered entirely by human ingenuity - or the lack thereof. Can we take advantage of that?

Corporations will proudly announce 'strategic pivots' into industries they don't understand. Governments will show sunshine during nights. People will marvel at the ability of other people to sound like them. GS will be the answer to all shortcomings and drawbacks. The opportunity, as you can only reckon right now, is immense. Investors will flock to GS startups promising everything, delivery being pointless. Universities will offer degrees whose sole function would be to add acronyms to CVs. Consultants can charge millions to explain why falling off a chair is 'disruptive innovation'.

So, stock up on patience, irony and helmets. When GS arrives, it won't be a bug, but the feature. And unlike AI, which pretends to be clever, GS will proudly declare: 'I am stupid, therefore I am.'
