The logic is impeccable. If he couldn't mind-bend Trump into making a government in the shape of Musk's masterplan, Musk would create a new party, out of thin air. And he has. Nothing fancy in terms of brand name, but 'America Party' quickly gets to the point that neither Republican Party or Democratic Party can quite get: an American party for America. Hmm. Not quite the Project X beta title we were hoping for, but...Musk's fallout with Trump now old hat/baseball cap..., it was a matter of time he would be doing what all rich brats do when they're declared out while batting (and don't have the option like WG Grace to refuse to leave the crease): get a new team. America Party aims to 'crack the uniparty system', which is another way of saying that Republicans are Democrats in Republican clothing, and Democrats are 'vice versa'. Enter Musk's Ctrl+Alt.

America's resident Martian drew a comparison from one of martial history moments-no, not the Romans this time, but their granddaddies, the Greeks.
