One can almost see an ear-podded Xi Jinping calmly listening to Grace Slick's nature-rippling voice sing the words, 'Feed your head/ Feed your head', at the end of Jefferson Airplane's song, 'White Rabbit'. And he's right to channel Lewis Carroll via Slick. Because in these times of utter chaos, maintaining one's composure - keeping one's head - is not just a survival tactic, it's a competitive advantage. In Donald's Adventures in Wonderland we all now inhabit, stocks are plummeting faster than rabbits down a hole. Sinister smiles attached to invisible bodies are hovering like the Cheshire Cat's grin. And the Hatter looks positively sane compared to the Mad Men currently running the 'shitshow'.

In Carroll's 1865 novel, the Queen of Hearts (Jefferson Airplane wrongly mentions the Red Queen) has only one way of settling all difficulties, great or small - by issuing a single executive order: 'Off with his head!' Which is why the best asset now is to keep it. While others spiral into full-blown existential crises, the steady-handed entrepreneur - and #WeAreAllEntrepreneursNow - keeps a cool head, waits to act upon the panic and finds still waters in choppy seas. So, as markets implode, economies teeter, competitors panic-buy NFTs, capitulate on not getting decapitated. Keep your head. Watch them combust. And, then, calmly, collect the spoils.
