Showing that one is bored usually comprises having a 'look' for public consumption that is a half-stare into the distance/table and half-slight twirl of the lower lip to suggest being low-level upset. But will bingbore really take off here in a culture where even if one is, indeed, bored, it is taboo to show it? Or among those whose job it is to show that one is constantly under a permanent fog of excitement and engagement, like politicians and actors? It could take off in pockets and in niche circles. After all, being bored is a luxury.
