In a chat with ET Now, R K Agarwal, CFO, Jagran Prakashan, talks about their business.

ET Now: How do you expect your ad and circulation revenues to pan out going forward?

RK Agarwal: Advertisement revenue for the month of August has grown by more than 30% and that is tempting me to revise my guidelines for whole of the year, which I gave in the beginning of the year at 17-18% growth. So if the August trend indicates anything, may be we can do 20% for the year.

ET Now: Can you walk us through the new launches you’re doing in the next three months? How much could this new market provide in terms of subscription? Usually when it is a new market, it is difficult to charge.

RK Agarwal: Fact of the matter is Jagran Prakashan has not launched any additional Dainik Jagran in past 2-3 years. As of now, we do not have any plan to expand our footprint area in next 3-5 months.

ET Now: How is the Mid-Day acquisition working out? Are you looking at spreading Mid-Day to other markets or will it remain a Mumbai paper?
