The long term perspective of the Railway Budget 2016 is very good, says SK Nevatia, CMD, Hind Rectifiers. In an interview with ET Now, Nevatia said that the company exepcts good returns in the future owing to the sound note of the budget. Edited excerpts:

ET Now: What stood out for you, anything that will lead to increased order inflow for you as a company because of this budget?

SK Nevatia: The long-term perspective of the budget is very good. It is on very sound note and in future we expect very good returns. But if you ask me specifically for the next year, I do not see anything clearly from the speech that something will help us.

These all new railway lines will help us in the long run, but immediately if you ask me next year, it is difficult to pin point from the budget speech what there is for us for immediate next year.

ET Now: What was your share in railway orders for you as a company, last year?

SK Nevatia: About 65%. We are trying to bring it down by increasing more on the other equipments.
