Pick stocks that are available at valuations: Neeraj Deewan,Quantum Securities

In a chat with ET Now, Neeraj Deewan,Quantum Securities shares his views on markets tomorrow:


ET Now: In the June series, Indian markets are already down 6% and 9% down in dollar terms. Are you worried or do you think this is a time to buy into the fall rather than running away it is time to jump in?

Neeraj Deewan: I definitely believe there is no need to panic, there is absolutely no need to kind of run away. In fact, it continuous to be a bottom up market and more so now that we have seem of the stocks post the results, post the earnings lose some ground more on technical reasons, more because the sentiment that is kind of prevalent in the market and absolutely it is time to pick some stocks that are available at valuations that seemed attractive in May but have just gotten probably much more reasonably priced.

ET Now: Leave us with one stock idea either on the short or the long side.

Neeraj Deewan: I would still go long and we have chosen Lupin to look at. Given the fact that people would look at some flight to safety, Lupin seems pretty attractive and given the fact that Japanese market had suddenly opened up in terms of online generic sales, Lupin should benefit tremendously from that simple small move.
