Mid caps may continue to do better than large caps in near term: BP Singh, Pramerica Mutual Fund

In a chat with ET Now, BP Singh, Executive Director & CIO - Equities, Pramerica Mutual Fund, shares his views on the market. Excerpts:

ET Now: What would be your recommendations, if not stock wise, then sectorally?

BP Singh: In the very near future, we are expecting the markets to remain a bit weak because foreign investors are obviously not present in strong numbers. So in that context, mid caps will continue to do better than large caps, and sectorally we believe that it is probably the public sector banks which will drive the market in this period.
