Expect good orders for ERA Infra Engineering going forward: TD Arora

In a chat with ET Now, TD Arora, Whole Time Director, ERA Infra Engineering Ltd, shares his business outlook. Excerpts:

ET Now: Give us details of this new order in terms of the period of execution.

TD Arora: We have recently won the order for NH-216. It is the Raigarh-Sarapalli section in Chhattisgarh.

ET Now: Give us some insight into the advance that you will get as also the period of execution.

TD Arora: Advances are as per the provisions of the contract. It has to be utilised for the mobilisation of the project. The advance will improve our cash flow, and help us in maintaining the bottom line for the project.

ET Now: What is the period of execution that you are looking at?

TD Arora: That is going to be 18 to 24 months. There will be many external factors involved, but we will definitely be making the maximum efforts for completing the job within that timeline.

ET Now: What does your current order book look like? What other projects are in the pipeline?

TD Arora: There are various projects at different stages of bidding. We are hopeful of getting good orders going forward. It will definitely improve our cash flows.

ET Now: What is the current order book standing at?

TD Arora: We have almost touched Rs 8,000 crore now. We are very hopeful and confident of getting some more orders, which will improve the overall scenario for us further.

ET Now: Talking of the upcoming rail budget, is there any station development project that you are looking at?

TD Arora: We have a quite good experience in the sector in executing various projects which include track-linking, subways and structures. So, we are very hopeful of getting some more orders this time around too.
