Bullish on financials; Bajaj Finance, Indiabulls Housing Finance top bets: Neeraj Deewan

In a chat with ET Now, Neeraj Deewan, Director of Quantum Securities, shares his views on some stocks. Excerpts:

ET Now: While you have seen an underperformance, it would be important to pick out some quality names which have healthy balance sheets - perhaps some of the PSU banking names. Anything from private banks that you like or any other midcap stocks that you would advise?

Neeraj Deewan: We like financials. Bajaj Finance is one of the stocks we have been recommending and the stock has been delivering also as far as the performance is concerned. This is one stock which should continue doing well.

Indiabulls Housing Finance is another. The growth is there and the performance has been improving quarter on quarter. This should also continue doing well.

Reliance Industries is one stock where you can see some leadership coming back over the next one or one-and-a-half years. Thus, it can also be looked at in the large cap space for portfolio investment.
