BJP’s several members are also against demonetisation: Mallikarjun Kharge, Congress Spokesperson
In a chat with ET Now, Mallikarjun Kharge, Congress Spokesperson said that "it is of public importance and if it is a definite matter and recent occurrence then such things can be taken under rule 56." Edited excerpts:

ET Now: Proceedings of the Lok Sabha has been adjourned, day after the government refused to debate on the demonetisation rule. What do you think about this?

Mallikarjun Kharge: We are requesting them to start the discussion under rule 56 which is called adjournment motion. Adjournment motion is -- defying if it is a urgent matter, if it is of public importance and if it is a definite matter and recent occurrence then such things can be taken under rule 56. All criteria fulfils in this particular section under adjournment motion and motion means there will be voting.

That is why we are insisting, and let us see because even BJP’s several members they are also against this move what the method they have adopted, what they are doing and how it is affecting this common man, farmers, unorganised workers and others. See that is why the entire house, not just one party the all opposition party wants that this discussion should take place in rule 56.
