Ever since Narendra Modi’s posters, congratulating former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his birthday, appeared on Lucknow streets last December, the talk of his possible candidature from the Lucknow Lok Sabha has been doing the rounds. Though the man himself has refused to be drawn into this buzz, the sitting Lucknow MP Lalji Tandon has already welcomed Modi to stand from the seat.
