A man bought a smartwatch to improve his health since it would track his steps, heart rate, sleep and calories. It would even remind him to stand up every hour. A day later, the watch congratulated him for walking 10,000 steps.

The man felt proud - until he discovered that 7,000 of those steps were from walking around the kitchen looking for his phone. Then the next day, the watch told him that he had slept badly.

The man already knew that. Since at 3 am, the watch had vibrated to tell him that he should 'reduce screen time'.

An 8-yr-old child asked his father, 'Baba, what's the password for the Wi-Fi?' His father said, 'Go outside and play.'

The boy looked horrified. 'Outside? Without Wi-Fi?'

'Yes. There are trees and birds, and the weather's nice and cool today.'

The boy stared at him as though he had described life on Mars. 'Can I take my tablet?' 'No.' 'Phone?' 'No.'

'Then what do people do outside?!'

His father thought for a moment. 'We used to talk to each other.' The boy immediately whispered, 'Baba, I think you need professional help.'
