Paradiso restaurant, located above St Moritz, offers a luxurious dining experience
Perched high above St Moritz, Paradiso is the kind of restaurant that turns lunch into the highlight of a day on the slopes. It is part of the legendary Badrutt's Palace, the iconic luxury hotel that has been synonymous with Alpine glamour since 1896. The Palace has long attracted royalty, industrialists, celebrities and discerning skiers from around the world, and Paradiso is where many of them make their lunchtime stop after skiing the slopes above St Moritz.

The setting is spectacular. A sprawling sun terrace overlooks snow-capped peaks and frozen lakes, while resident DJs and flowing champagne lend the restaurant the air of an elegant apres-ski party. Begin with crispy truffle fries or a platter of Graubunden cured meats before moving on to the crisp veal schnitzel or a rich, velvety cheese fondue. The rosti, golden and buttery, is among the best in the Alps, while the grilled lobster is a favourite with regulars. Round off the meal with a slice of the house-made Engadin nut tart, a regional classic.

Paradiso isn't cheap, but few places combine world-class skiing, exceptional food, impeccable service and breathtaking views with such effortless style.
