Finding Gulmohar on the ground

The utter pleasure of finding gulmohar flowers strewn all over the footpath brings about a burst of colour in the ordinary day. For a few moments, actually, ordinariness disappears to be replaced by nature's artistry, in a burst of red and orange. These delicate blossoms, fallen from the branches above, are as flamboyant as they are fleeting.
