Twin animators Tom and Tony Bancroft host The Bancroft Brothers Animation Podcast, an engaging show exploring their Disney legacy, current industry dynamics and the future of animation. In a standout episode featuring indie sensation XrayAlphaCharlie, a.k.a. Xierra, the host duo seamlessly bridges classic studio craft with modern digital storytelling.

Xierra, famous for her massive YouTube following and elusive, face-concealing persona, pulls back the curtain on her creative process. Tom and Tony facilitate a light-hearted yet insightful dialogue about what it truly takes to succeed as an independent creator today. They tackle everything from navigating online mystery to building a sustainable audience without corporate backing.

The charm of this episode lies in the hosts' genuine curiosity and veteran wisdom. Rather than lingering on nostalgic studio anecdotes, the conversation embraces the democratisation of animation, leaving listeners inspired by the sheer power of modern indie creators.

Inspiring, witty and grounded, this hour-long episode offers an indispensable masterclass for aspiring animators and fans alike. It is a compelling reminder that independent artists are shaping the medium's future.
