Representational
A tech firm launched FrappMatch, the Tinder for apps.

Swipe right on apps you'd maybe like; swipe left on ones you're ashamed to admit you downloaded.

After two weeks, users realised FrappMatch suggested apps to delete FrappMatch. The cycle continued until one user achieved enlightenment by deleting everything and starting a bullet journal. He now lives off-grid, ironically funded by ad revenue from the FrappMatch Facebook Reels channel.

Startup, Stand Down
A startup launched with the goal to 'Uber-ise mindfulness while decentralising empathy on the blockchain'. Its app used AI to detect your mood via front camera, then suggested a therapist, a playlist and a meme.

By Series A, they'd raised $40 mn. By Series B, their founder moved to Bali to 'focus on energy workflows'.

By Series C, their server costs surpassed Isro's moon budget. By Series D, the costs surpassed Nasa's. By Series E, they pivoted to scented NFTs.

Today, the startup's an ebook that teaches 'How to Fail with Confidence'.

P.S. How many developers does it take to change a lightbulb? None. That's a hardware issue - please file a ticket with Facilities on Jira. ETA: Next quarter.
