Kuwait’s Public Authority for Manpower has launched a new online self-service system that allows company partners to renew work permits through the “Ashal Services” portal, according to a report by Gulf News. The reform is part of the country’s wider effort to expand digital government services and simplify labour-related procedures.

The authority said users can now complete work permit renewals electronically without visiting service centres. Officials added that the platform offers a secure and easy-to-use digital interface aimed at reducing waiting times and improving processing efficiency.

According to the authority, the online renewal system is available through its official portal and is expected to provide greater flexibility for users managing work permit procedures.

The development follows several recent digital reforms introduced by Kuwait for foreign workers and employers. These include online domestic driver visa services through the Sahel app, multiple-trip exit permits for foreign workers, and simplified residency transfer procedures.
