The United Arab Emirates has topped as the world’s strongest passport in 2025, with a mobility score of 179, according to Passport Index data by Arton Capital. UAE passport holders can access the highest number of countries without a prior visa or with visa-on-arrival.

Singapore and Spain are in second place with scores of 175, while Belgium, France, Sweden, Germany, the Netherlands, Finland, Luxembourg, Italy, Denmark, Portugal, Switzerland, Greece, Austria, Malaysia, Norway, Ireland, South Korea, and Japan follow closely with scores of 174.

India ranks 67th globally, reflecting limited travel freedom compared with top-ranking countries.
