Visa has partnered with the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) to offer benefits to Indian travellers visiting Singapore, as the destination continues to see strong demand from India. The announcement comes as Singapore recorded over 1.2 million Indian visitors in 2025, underlining its position as a preferred international destination.

The partnership, called the Visa x STB Promotion, will run from 18 February to 30 May 2026. It allows Indian travellers to access offers on travel, dining, shopping and experiences in Singapore when they use Visa cards for bookings and payments.

The initiative aims to increase cross-border spending and encourage digital payments during international travel. Travellers can access these offers through Visa’s Singapore destination page and partner platforms.

“Affluent Indian travellers are increasingly choosing Singapore for curated, experience-led getaways and expect journeys that feel seamless and friction free. Through Visa’s partnership with the Singapore Tourism Board, we’re unlocking greater value, choice and convenience across iconic experiences when travellers pay with Visa, making it effortless to tap, explore and enjoy one of the world’s most contactless-ready destinations,” Sridhar Keppurengan, Head of Cross-Border Payments, India and South Asia, Visa, said.

“Singapore is a destination where the ordinary becomes extraordinary — whether it's discovering a hidden dining gem, wandering through vibrant neighbourhoods, or enjoying a spontaneous night out. For Indian travellers, it's these everyday moments that create truly memorable trips. Through our partnership with Visa, we're making it easier for visitors to embrace these experiences while enjoying additional rewards along the way,” Markus Tan, Regional Director, India, Middle East, South Asia and Africa at STB, said.

Singapore’s digital payment ecosystem supports this effort. According to Visa’s Consumer Payment Attitudes Study, 97% of payments in Singapore are made using cards, compared to 82% using cash. Contactless payments account for more than 95% of Visa transactions in the country.

Under the partnership, Indian travellers can access several offers across categories. These include a complimentary attraction at Sentosa under selected conditions, discounted airfares starting from ₹19,300 on Singapore Airlines, and up to 15% off activities booked through Pelago.

Travellers can also get discounts on rides and meals through Grab, up to 20% savings at participating restaurants, and 15% off tickets at the Museum of Ice Cream for group bookings.

Retail and hospitality benefits include discounts at Lotte Duty Free, offers on luxury hotel stays under the Visa Luxury Hotel Collection, and reward points at ION Orchard for high-value spending.

The partnership focuses on providing convenience and savings while promoting Singapore as a key destination for Indian leisure travel.
