Ukraine crisis: Indian embassy issues advisory asks citizens, specially students, to return as situation remains tense
The Embassy of India in Kyiv has sent out a notification asking Indians, particularly students whose stay is not essential, to leave Ukraine temporarily amid escalating tension between Russia and NATO countries over the eastern European nation.

This comes as tensions rise over a possible Russian invasion of Ukraine.

"In view of the uncertainties of the current situation in Ukraine, Indian nationals in Ukraine, particularly students whose stay is not essential, may consider leaving temporarily. Indian nationals are also advised to avoid all non-essential travel to and within Ukraine," the Embassy release said.
