British finance minister Rachel Reeves said she would temporarily slash the ‌sales ⁠tax charged ⁠on tickets for attractions like theme parks, zoos and theatres, as part of her ⁠efforts to ‌help the economy during ⁠the Iran war.

The cut to value added tax to 5% from 20% for certain attractions would apply ‌from the end of June to ⁠the beginning of September, she told parliament on Thursday.
