The United Arab Emirates has announced a new multiple-entry visa for travelers to the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

For AED 100 (Rs 2,164 at current exchange rate), Hayya Card holders attending the FIFA World Cup in Qatar, will be able to enter the UAE multiple times over a period of 90 days.

The programme is part of the UAE’s initiatives to support Qatar in hosting the FIFA World Cup 2022, reported the state news agency, WAM.


The Hayya Card is mandatory for all travellers to Qatar who visit the country between November 1, 2022, and January 23, 2023.

Card holders will also be able to extend the visa for another 90-day period at the normal price.

How to apply

The visa will be made available online through the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs & Port Security (ICP) website.

You can apply for the visa under the ‘Smart Channels’ section, within ‘Public Services’, after selecting by the ‘Hayya Card Holders’ option.

Payment and traveler details are needed to complete the process.

The 90-day stay limit will start on the date of issuance of the visa.
