Tokyo Haneda Airport has once again been crowned the world's cleanest airport for 2026, marking its tenth win in the major airport category. This prestigious ranking, based on global passenger surveys, places Incheon and Singapore Changi airports...

Haneda secured the top position for the tenth time. Incheon International Airport ranked second, followed by Singapore Changi Airport in third place.
Other airports in the top 10 list include Tokyo Narita, Hong Kong International Airport, Taiwan Taoyuan, Kansai International Airport, Zurich Airport, Shanghai Hongqiao and Rome Fiumicino.
In the category for airports handling up to 30 million passengers annually, New Chitose Airport ranked first. It was followed by Centrair Nagoya and Fukuoka Airport, among others.
Rankings based on passenger surveys
Skytrax conducts annual surveys of airport users worldwide to assess cleanliness standards across terminals. The awards are part of its global airport customer satisfaction programme launched in 1999.Haneda has also consistently ranked among the world’s best airports. In 2026, it placed third in the overall best airport category and retained its 5-star airport rating for the twelfth consecutive year.
