The 2025 awards also recognized Emirates as the Best International Airline and Delta Air Lines as the Best US Airline, while Air New Zealand earned the Innovation of the Year award for its Skycouch economy seats. Forbes Travel Guide surveyed over 9,000 frequent travellers and hospitality experts to determine winners, validating results through its established Star Ratings methodology.
Peter Greenberg, Emmy Award-winning travel journalist, noted, “The Verified Air Travel Awards provide a trusted benchmark—an annual check validated by Forbes Travel Guide to separate substance from spin. The real difference here is that these awards aren’t driven by a transient popularity contest but by the expertise of the most discerning voices in travel and hospitality.”
