The new visa is valid for 365 days from the date of issuance and permits multiple entries into Saudi Arabia, subject to meeting regulatory requirements. The Ministry said the move is part of the Pilgrim Experience Program, which seeks to simplify travel procedures, improve the visitor experience and enhance service efficiency.
Nusuk package mandatory for every visit
Pilgrims using the new visa must purchase a service package from an approved provider through the Nusuk platform before each visit. The package duration cannot exceed the remaining validity of the visa.Visitors are also required to obtain an Umrah permit through the Nusuk application before arriving in Saudi Arabia.
Visa inactive during Hajj season
The Ministry said the visa will be deactivated after each departure and reactivated for the next visit once all required conditions are met.However, it will remain inactive during the Hajj season, from the first day of Dhu Al Qadah until the 13th day of Dhu Al Hijjah.
