The group said Radisson Blu remained the largest upper-upscale brand in Europe, with a presence across 154 cities. Its resort portfolio in the region spans 27 destinations, supporting its position in leisure-led hospitality.
India and China drive expansion
India continued to be a key market, with the group crossing 200 hotels in operation and under development. The company cited strong domestic travel demand and investor confidence as key growth drivers.In China, the group signed and opened 170 hotels during the year, with expansion focused on mid-scale segments. Country Inn & Suites by Radisson emerged as the fastest-growing brand in the country.
Expansion across Europe, Middle East and Africa
Across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, the group recorded around 70 signings and openings. These included projects in Manchester, Paris, Bucharest, Barcelona, Egypt and Germany, alongside partnerships linked to large developments such as a hotel at Manchester City Football Club’s Etihad Stadium.Sustainability and resort growth in focus
The company highlighted sustainability as a key priority, with the launch of two net zero hotels in Manchester and Oslo. These projects are aimed at reducing environmental impact while supporting long-term asset value.Leisure travel remained a major driver, with the group’s global resort portfolio exceeding 160 properties. New developments in Bali, Turkey and Brussels reflect continued demand for resort and urban-resort destinations.
