The Louvre decided on Thursday to hike ticket prices for non-European visitors by 45%, the Paris museum and staff unions told AFP.

People from outside the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway will have to pay 32 euros ($37) -- an extra 10 euros -- from January 14, they said.
