Applications already submitted through the old system will continue to be processed. Applicants can upload documents and respond to INZ requests until a decision is made.
Those with draft applications on the old form have until October 7, 2026, to complete and submit them. Any remaining drafts will be deleted on October 8, after which applicants will have to start a new application on the enhanced system.
INZ said the new platform is intended to simplify the visa application process, improve communication on application status and expand self-service options.
