With the new service, IndiGo will operate more than 55 weekly flights to Colombo from five Indian cities, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai and Delhi. The airline also runs 10 weekly flights connecting Chennai and Tiruchirappalli to Jaffna.
The expanded schedule strengthens IndiGo’s presence in Sri Lanka and increases options for passengers travelling between the two countries.

Booking and travel options
Passengers can book tickets through the airline’s website, mobile app and authorised travel partners. The airline said travellers can pre-book meals and beverages, including alcoholic drinks, and choose add-on services such as UpFront and Flexi for seat selection, snacks and flexible cancellations.Flight schedule (effective March 29, 2026)
