In an attempt to enhance bilateral relations and cultural ties between the two nations, and promote tourism to the remote islands, the Republic of Palau has extended its visa-free facility to Indian passport holders. Indians can now visit Palau visa-free for a period of 30-days.

While there are currently no direct flights from India to the Micronesian islands, travellers can reach Palau through connecting flights via major Asian hubs such as Manila, Singapore, Seoul, and Taipei. Air India is also planning to launch new routes to the Philippines—another visa-free destination for Indians—which is expected to improve overall connectivity to both the Philippines and Palau.What does Palau offer?
