MakeMyTrip has expanded its partnership with Vietravel Corporation to include Cambodia and Laos, giving Indian travellers access to a wider Southeast Asia travel circuit beyond Vietnam. The agreement, signed through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), builds on an earlier 2025 partnership between the two companies and focuses on creating multi-country travel experiences across the region.

The move comes as Vietnam continues to see rising demand among Indian tourists, supported by direct flight connectivity and an easier e-visa process. Through the expanded partnership, MakeMyTrip and Vietravel will now develop travel itineraries, holiday packages, and cultural experiences across Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos.

Vietravel is one of Vietnam’s largest destination management companies and has been operating for over three decades. The company manages tourism operations across Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, and several international markets including India, Singapore, Thailand, France, the United States, and Australia.

Its local partnerships and destination networks across the three countries are expected to help MakeMyTrip strengthen its Holiday Packages business and offer Indian travellers more regional experiences in Southeast Asia.

Jasmeet Singh, Chief Business Officer, Holidays & Experiences at MakeMyTrip, said, “Indian travellers are increasingly seeking holidays that go deeper than sightseeing - they want culture, food, history, local stories, and seamless multi-country experiences. Our expanded partnership with Vietravel allows us to build stronger Southeast Asia itineraries across Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos, backed by local expertise and richer on-ground curation. This is an important step in strengthening our Holiday Packages portfolio and offering Indian travellers more immersive ways to discover the region.”

Ngo Minh Quan, Deputy Director of the Inbound Department at Vietravel, said, “The Indian market plays an important role in Vietravel's global growth strategy. This partnership with MakeMyTrip is a meaningful expression of that. Our shared goal is to make Southeast destinations: Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia more memorable to Indian travellers through the authentic experiences we create. Sustainable, responsible growth is what elevates a destination's reputation over time, and that is precisely what we are working towards.”
