China's commerce ministry on Friday released measures aimed at ‌expanding ⁠consumption ⁠by foreign tourists, pledging to grant visa-free entry to more countries and ⁠improve visa-free ‌transit policies.

The measures ⁠also encourage airlines to offer more discounts on connecting flights with long layovers in ‌China and for local authorities to ⁠host more sports events.
