NEW DELHI: Indians with diplomatic passports will now find travelling to Poland, Slovenia and Lithuania easier as government today approved visas waiver agreements with these countries.

The Union Cabinet has cleared agreements with the three countries. The agreements could be signed shortly.

A similar agreement with Cuba was cleared last week. New Delhi has similar agreements with nearly 50 countries so far, including Russia, Israel and Japan.

While some countries allow diplomatic passport holders longer stay, some countries have waiver agreements on short stay.

The agreement with Solvenia cleared today is for short-term visits.
