The Ministry of External Affairs has opened applications for the Scholarship Programme for diaspora children for the academic year 2025–26.

The scheme is open to eligible applicants, with the last date for submitting completed application forms set as January 30, 2026, according to the official announcement.

Who can apply

The scholarship is applicable to children of Persons of Indian Origin, Non-Resident Indians and Overseas Citizens of India. The consulate stated applications must be submitted in the prescribed format and in line with the guidelines issued for the 2025–26 academic year.
