According to a Ministry of External Affairs 2022 report, 13,24,954 international students are currently studying in 79 countries, contributing to one of the world's largest overseas diasporas. Such a huge number of students studying abroad indicates their quest for limitless opportunities, high standards of living, and, prominently, better career prospects and high returns on investment.

The most popular courses that top the list of Indian students are broadly categorized into STEM courses as well as Finance and Business related studies. Furthermore, a recent survey reported an influx of Indian students in the courses such as Healthcare, Climate, and Technology post-pandemic.

Top courses for Indian students planning to study abroad are listed below in the order of their precedence:


Robotics and Artificial Intelligence:
With the advent of Metaverse, Blockchain, and other AI-induced technologies, Artificial intelligence and Machine learning is gaining prominence among Indian students.

As per our survey, around 24% of Indian students are interested in studying advanced technologies abroad.
