US FAA cancels brief groundstop for JetBlue planes

The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration said on Tuesday that a ground stop has been imposed on all JetBlue Airways aircraft across all destinations. The advisory said the airline requested the ground stop.

A briefly issued groundstop for all JetBlue flights was canceled within an hour on ‌Tuesday by ⁠the ⁠U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) after the airline said it had resolved a "system outage."

"A brief system outage has been ⁠resolved and ‌we have resumed operations," a spokesperson ⁠for JetBlue said in a statement, without providing further details.

The FAA had said the flight halt was issued at the ‌request of JetBlue.


New York-headquartered JetBlue serves over 110 destinations across the ⁠United States, the Caribbean and Latin America, Canada and Europe.
