A list titled America's Richest Immigrants 2025 ranks Chaudhry with a net worth of $17.9 billion, at No. 8 among 125 billionaire immigrants from around the world. He ranks significantly higher than Sundar Pichai (No. 119) and Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella (No. 120). A total of 12 Indian immigrants are featured on the list, which is topped by Elon Musk.

Who is cybersecurity mogul Jay Chaudhry?
Jay Chaudhry, a 65-year-old cybersecurity mogul, is CEO of Zscaler, a cybersecurity firm he founded in 2008. It went public in March 2018. He and his family own around 40% of the Nasdaq-listed firm. Before Zscaler, Chaudhry founded four other tech companies that were all acquired: SecureIT, CoreHarbor, CipherTrust and AirDefense. In 1996, Chaudhry and his wife, Jyoti, both quit their jobs and used their life savings to start cybersecurity firm SecureIT, his first startup.His hometown, a village in the Himalayas in India, did not have electricity or running water until he was in the 8th and 10th grade, respectively. Chaudhry moved to the U.S. in 1980 to attend graduate school and now lives in Nevada, after relocating from the Bay Area.
