In a post on X, India in Dubai said Consul @cgidubai visited Indian crew members from the commercial vessels MT Al Bahiyah and MT Mombasa, who had been evacuated on the night of July 14 following the attack.

"Consul @cgidubai visited the Indian seafarers from commercial vessels MT Al Bahiyah and MT Mombasa, who were on board and evacuated at night on 14 July 2026," the Consulate said.
The Consul also visited the injured Indian seafarers admitted to hospitals in Dibba, Khorfakkan and Fujairah.
"The official also visited the injured seafarers from these two commercial vessels who are currently admitted in 3 different hospitals in Dibba, Khorfakkan & Fujairah, enquired about their well-being, and assured them of the Consulate's full support and assistance," the post said.

The Consulate said it had maintained close coordination with all stakeholders involved in the relief efforts.
"@cgidubai is maintaining close contact and coordination with the hospitals, ship management company, local UAE authorities and the families of those injured," it said.
The attack had triggered fires and caused heavy damage to both vessels. One crew member aboard MT Mombasa was killed, while eight others were injured, including four Indians and two Ukrainians. Four of the injured sustained serious injuries.
Earlier, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs had condemned the attack and expressed condolences to the family of the deceased Indian seafarer and the Government of India.
