VFS Global has expanded South Korea visa services to six visa application centres across India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. The centres are located in New Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, Dhaka and Colombo.

The new Korea Visa Application Centre in New Delhi was inaugurated on 15 September 2026 by H.E. Mr. Lee Seong-ho, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to India.

VFS Global has provided visa processing services for the Government of the Republic of Korea in India since 2011. It operates centres in New Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai and Kolkata.


The company recently opened Korea Visa Application Centres in Dhaka and Colombo. With this expansion, VFS Global now manages six centres across three South Asian countries and nine centres across six countries globally.

“This is an important step in further strengthening the relationship between the Republic of Korea and India. The new centre has been designed to provide applicants with seamless, efficient, and accessible application experience. We appreciate VFS Global’s continued support and look forward to further strengthening our collaboration to facilitate travel and promote greater people to people exchanges between the Republic of Korea and India,” H.E. Mr. Lee Seong-ho said.

This milestone also underscores our commitment to continually enhancing the visa application experience through upgraded services, modern facilities, and highly trained teams, making the journey more seamless and convenient for every applicant across South Asia,” Yummi Talwar, Chief Operating Officer - South Asia, VFS Global, said.

VFS Global said the expansion is part of its 25th anniversary year. The company provides visa, passport and citizen services for governments and citizens worldwide.

VFS Global’s role is limited to administrative tasks, including collecting application forms and documents according to the checklist and enrolling biometrics.
