Israel-Hamas conflict: Air India offers one-time waiver on confirmed tickets

In response to the ongoing conflict between Hamas and Israel, Air India has announced a compassionate gesture for passengers affected by the turmoil. The airline is offering a one-time waiver on charges for rescheduling or cancellation of confirmed tickets on flights to and from Tel Aviv. This initiative aims to ease the travel concerns of passengers amidst the volatile situation.

"Air India is offering a one-time waiver on charges for rescheduling or cancellation of confirmed tickets on flights to and from Tel Aviv. The offer is valid on tickets issued before 9th October for travel until 31st October 2023," the official statement from Air India reads.




In response to the heightened tension and violence that erupted on October 7, Air India has taken the precautionary measure of suspending its operations to and from Delhi-Tel Aviv until October 14.

Highlighting the airline's commitment to its personnel, Air India on Sunday executed a successful evacuation operation for its crew members and two airport managers from Tel Aviv. Among those evacuated were 10 crew members, including pilots and cabin crew, who were stationed in Israel for the purpose of operating the return flight.
