Airlines said services are being restored in phases following safety assessments, with some routes still suspended till March 3 or March 4.

Air India
Air India said it has commenced scheduled operations to all its destinations in the US, Canada, Europe and the UK.However, the airline has extended the temporary suspension of all its flights to and from the Middle East until 23:59 hrs (IST) on March 3, 2026, due to the continued closure of multiple airspaces.
The airline is offering full refunds or complimentary rescheduling to affected passengers.
IndiGo
IndiGo said it will operate four dedicated flights from Jeddah on March 3, 2026, as part of efforts to progressively normalise operations between Saudi Arabia and India.The special flights from Jeddah will operate to:
- Mumbai
- Hyderabad
- Ahmedabad
The airline has advised passengers not to go to the airport unless notified.
SpiceJet
SpiceJet said it is operating special charter flights from Fujairah to Delhi, Mumbai and Kochi to support Indian nationals travelling home.Also read: Iran-Israel war: India issues emergency helplines for citizens across West Asia
“SpiceJet is operating special charter flights from Fujairah to Delhi, Mumbai and Kochi to support Indian nationals travelling home. Standing by when it matters!” the airline posted.
Air India Express
Air India Express will resume flight operations to and from Muscat from March 3, 2026.Flights to and from Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates will remain suspended until 23:59 hrs IST (18:29 hrs UTC) on March 3, 2026.
Passengers have been advised to check their flight status and update contact details in their PNR for notifications.
Akasa Air
Akasa Air said it will operate select flights to and from Jeddah on March 3 and March 4 following a comprehensive safety review.March 3, 2026

Akasa Air flights to and from Abu Dhabi, Doha, Kuwait and Riyadh will remain suspended until March 4, 2026.
“The operation of the above-mentioned flights is based on our current safety assessment and may change subject to prevailing conditions,” the airline said.
