Indian missions across West Asia on Saturday issued fresh advisories for citizens, urging them to remain vigilant and strictly follow safety guidelines issued by local authorities. The advisories came hours after the US and Israel launched a joint attack on Iran, triggering wider regional tensions.

Embassies said they are functioning normally and shared 24x7 helpline numbers and email IDs for Indians seeking assistance.

United Arab Emirates

The Embassy of India, Abu Dhabi urged Indian nationals to “avoid unnecessary travel, take due care, remain vigilant, follow safety guidelines and advisories as and when issued by the UAE authorities and the Embassy.”


It said the embassy and the Consulate General of India, Dubai are continuing to function normally.

Saudi Arabia

The Embassy of India, Riyadh asked Indian nationals to “remain vigilant” and strictly adhere to safety guidelines prevalent in the country.
