IndiGo Doha-Bengaluru flight diverted to Muscat after crew medical emergency

IndiGo flight 6E 1302, operating from Doha to Bengaluru on September 3, was diverted to Muscat after one of the operating crew members urgently required medical attention, the airline said.

The crew member received medical attention from a medical team after the aircraft landed in Muscat and is now feeling better, IndiGo said.

The airline has arranged an alternate aircraft and a new set of crew to continue the flight to Bengaluru. Passengers are waiting at Muscat while arrangements are being made for the onward journey.

IndiGo said it was taking steps to minimise the inconvenience caused to passengers, including providing refreshments and timely updates while they wait for the alternate aircraft.

"We regret the inconvenience caused to our customers and are making every effort to minimise it, including offering refreshments and timely updates as they wait for the aircraft at Muscat."

The airline added, "The safety of our customers, crew, and aircraft remains our top priority at IndiGo."
